My Girl!

Serena is growing so fast, where did the time go?!

We started her with solids (single grain cereals with mommy's milk) when she was 5.5 months. She really likes it but she prefers to bring the bowl to her lips & drinks it. And with the spoon, somehow by the end of her meal, she & I are covered with her food. We're getting better at it now.

Now that she knows how to roll over both from tummy to back & back to tummy, I can't just leave her on a bed & turn away anymore. She rolled from the middle of the bed all the way to the edge when I was with her the other day. She smiled at me after I picked her up-she probably thought it was funny. She can sit on her own but usually just for a short time before she leans down to one side. But what she likes most these days is standing up. She can stand holding onto furniture for a short period of time. And a couple of times, I think she tried to walk.

And what made Andrew so proud these days is Serena saying "dada". But most of the times it sounds more like "dede" to me.

My girl Serena, I am so proud of her accomplishments. And I just love holding her!
