We arrived to Andrew's parent's with a celebration of my birthday with a yummy chocolate cake. Yay! On Christmas Eve, we went to church and they had 3 live Nativity scenes between services. It was kind of fun, seeing it in flesh rather than in pictures or statues. It made it seem more "real". On Christmas day, we opened presents as soon as we were up and we all did quite well on the receiving end of it. The rest of our stay, we did our usual stops of the Kennedy Space Center & Disney. This time we also went to Manatee sighting (none were there) and to an alligator farm where they also have other animals on site.
At the alligator farm, we took a boat ride down the river where we learned about the habitat of the reptile & the different variety of plants in Florida. We also got to hold a baby alligator, a snake and a tarantula during the animal show where we were also educated on the whole ecological system. Devin held the spider & the snake but not the baby alligator. He ran to the other side of the room when it was his turn. I think it's because whenever I show him a picture of an alligator (since he first came to the knowledge of an alligator), I always say "chomp, chomp" afterwards. So he probably thinks it bites (chomp, chomp) regardless whether or not the mouth was taped shut, lol.
