Devin is so funny...and sweet. He tells me he loves me, everyday. Last week when I said to him that I love him first, he says, "and I love you last." Awww. So this week we basically went back & off saying that to each other.
Every morning before he goes to school, I always remind him to share with his friends & listen to his teachers. Two mornings ago, he said to me, "This is the last time I'm listening. I'm tired of listening." LOL!
Last week when I went to pick him up from school, he was finishing his lunch. His teacher was getting his stuff together & he asked his teacher, "what's the hurry?!" I cracked up and so did his teacher.
Oh Devin, I can't wait to share all these funny anecdotes with you when you are older. And I'll always love you first.

Oh Sam I love this post! It made me cry! Until I had my own I didn't fathom how much love I had, or how God loves us even more!
I think God gave us children as a reward and on the same token to show us how much HE loves us (times infinite) by giving us our own to love. And of course to show how you love one or two just the same no matter how many children you have.
That is so incredibly sweet! I'm glad you posted those special moments with your son.
After reading your last two posts, I'm really looking forward to the 2 and 3 year old stages. Sable is just starting to speak in sentences; I'm so excited for when she says funny things!
